SSA Trade Show

Day 1: Michelle, Jessika, Alyssa, and Tyler arrived in New Orleans, got settled into the hotel, and headed out for a team dinner at a local steakhouse. They discussed their game plans for the week and had a great time at dinner.

Day 2:The team arrived at the New Orleans Convention Center early to get the booth set up. The SSA Spring Trade Show kicked off that afternoon, and they spent time demonstrating 6Storage Software with many future and current self storage operators. Throughout the event, the team networked with other people in the industry, and it was great for the team to meet with the businesses that integrate with 6Storage’s software! Making connections and new friends in the industry is a must, and being able to send clients to these types of businesses with confidence is huge.

After the trade show, a few team members networked with some of Michelle’s connections. The team wrapped up the evening with a charity event, hosted by Storage Gives which is a charity company started by StorageAuctions.com. It included dinner and a live band in an old historic building that overlooks the Mississippi River.

Day 3: The team woke up early for breakfast together before heading to listen to the keynote speaker. Attendance on the last day of the SSA Spring Conference definitely picked up, and the team had a fantastic time networking. Many interested owners and operators stopped by the booth, and the team shared 6Storage’s services and explained how they could help these owners run their facilities. 

After the trade show, the team ended the evening with dinner followed by a fun cocktail hour at Mardi Gras World.

Alyssa says, “I am most excited to reach out to the leads that we met and show them what 6Storage can offer them. I can’t wait to see how many of the leads convert to actual sign-ups just because we were able to make that initial and personal connection.”

Tyler is also excited about the in-person connections he made at SSA, and says,
“I’m most excited about connecting with these owners and operators in the future, whether on the phone or on Zoom.”

Jessika is most excited about 6Storage’s new integrations. She says, “The new integrations will open the door for new customers who are needing vendor partner integration for their gate, kiosk, call center, etc. I’m excited to work with the development team to provide industry knowledge of how the integrations’ API should work with our software API.”
