MSSOA & NESSA
The 6Storage team has been traveling NONSTOP! Over the last couple of weeks, they attended the Missouri Self Storage Owners Association (MSSOA) Annual Conference in Osage Beach, MO and the North East Self Storage Association (NESSA) EXPO in Springfield, MA. Keep reading to learn more about our adventures!
MSSOA
It was great to attend a show in 6Storage’s home state of Missouri! It was even better seeing owners of storage facilities close to our home town and having the opportunity to discuss 6Storage software with them.
The team arrived a day early to set up the booth and meet with friends in the storage industry, then they had a nice dinner at a lakeside bar and grill. On day two, the show started, and although it was a smaller attending event, the 6Storage team had some good leads stop by the booth and inquire about the software. The final day was a much shorter day, and the team had multiple leads from the previous day swing by for a recap and to get more information about the tools 6Storage can provide for them. The team also listened to a few speakers discuss legal terms and what type of management is best for your facility.
Many smaller facilities in Missouri are still using pen and paper or excel sheets to manage their facilities. The team is excited to reach out and get demos set up to show them how software can save them time while managing their business.
NESSA
This was another smaller show and 6Storage was one of two software companies as vendors! The team arrived on the day of the show and set up our booth for the show later that evening. 6Storage’s booth was positioned next to some great vendors, OpenTech Alliance and PTI Security Systems, who we integrate with for gate access controls. It was nice getting to send the attendees to vendors 6Storage highly recommends using in the storage business
The first day of the trade show was only 1 ½ hours, and it flew by because the team had a few leads that were very interested in 6Storage’s software. The team walked them through the services in detail to help them better understand what 6Storage offers. There was a movie theater inside the hotel we stayed in, so after the show ended the 6Storage team went to see the new Micheal Jordan film AIR.
Day two of the tradeshow was very similar to the MSSOA show where leads from the prior day stopped by the booth for further information about 6Storage. 6Storage’s team brought nice coffee mugs as our promotional items and they were a big hit to the attendees – they came home with none left!
The team spoke with a few third party management companies that had heard about 6Storage. These companies were happy we’re growing and excited to potentially use 6Storage in the future to help manage their portfolios. The team LOVED hearing this feedback because it shows that the industry is hearing more and more about 6Storage and considering the software as an option for their business!
